Browne, Bruce Timothy “Tim”

Geneseo, NY/Bradenton, FL.: Tim passed away peacefully at home, August 9, 2015 at the age of 68 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. His parents, Bruce and Gladys Browne of Avon predecease him. Survived by his loving family; his wife of 48 years, Bonnie; son, Robert (Jeanine) Browne of Boynton Beach, FL.; daughter, Karin Browne of Portland, OR; brother, Ronald (Nancy) Browne of Rochester; sisters, Donna (Dick) House of Avon, Elaine (Kevin) Patrick of Avon; brother-in-law, Ronald (Elsie) Zuber of Honeoye Falls; sister-in-law, Patricia (Harley) Peterschick of Vancouver, WA; father-in-law, Robert Zuber of Melbourne, FL; many nieces and nephews.

Tim was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam era; a retiree of Rochester Gas & Electric with over 32 years of service; and an avid sportsman who loved his land, hunting, fishing and golfing. Tim was a life member of the American Legion.

Friends may call Friday, August 14, 2015 from 4-7PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon, where his Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 15th at 11AM. His Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Honor Flight of Rochester, P.O. Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692.
